A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER
 
As a long time cyclist, I was never a fan of wearing a bicycle helmet. I honestly thought they were too bulky, too “sci-fi”, too hard to lug around. But after losing a friend to a fatal bike accident, I knew I needed to change. Wanting to give others an option to change as well, I emptied my savings account and convinced my friends to help me build Thousand.
There is so much more that I hope you’ll discover about our mission, our impact, and our design. But for now, let me say— I’m glad you’re here. Thanks for joining us on this ride.
